The Washington DC Chapter of ACM SIGGRAPH is proud to present, Mark Reisch, Assistant Professor at Rochester Institute of Technology. Mr. Reisch will be presenting his latest research into live action virtual production and scaling that knowledge down for stop-motion virtual production. He will also discuss and demonstrate his latest work with control rigs in the Unreal gaming engine and the shift to animating within Unreal rather than exporting animation from another program such as Maya. Bring your questions and a friend to learn more about virtual production for stop-motion animation.
The meeting will be hosted on the Zoom platform. A link to the meeting will be provided 10 minutes prior to the presentation to all those who have responded to the announcement on our MeetUp. The link will also be visible to those who RSVP. Those who do not RSVP to the MeetUp announcement will not receive the link to the meeting.

Biography – Mark Reisch
Mark Reisch is a 3D Animator whose work has been seen in several 3D Imax films including Lions 3D and Sea Monsters. He was part of the first team to successfully convert live action footage to 3D IMAX film. Mark’s animation has been seen in feature films, TV specials (including the History Channel’s Battle 360), shorts, and most recently collaboration with another faculty member on their first VR animated film which is a blend of 2D and 3D animation. Mark is also researching virtual production for stop-motion animation.
