Please join DC_SIGGRAPH as our own Roberto Ortiz gives a talk about the Washington DC area computer graphics market and some of the activities carried out by the Washington DC ACM SIGGRAPH Chapter. He will showcase work by our members via a show reel including work from NASA, the National Transportation Safety Board and Bully! Entertainment.
This encore presentation was given at the SIGGRAPH conference in Vancouver in the International Theater to a full house. For those of you who were unable to attend the SIGGRAPH conference in Vancouver, this is your opportunity to hear this presentation and see the amazing work done by members of our chapter!
After the presentation, DC_SIGGRAPH invites you to share your experiences with those who could not attend the conference this year. Bring your laptop and flash drives and exchange photos. Show off your coveted Pixar teapot! Tell us about the cool parties we missed! Whether or not you attended the conference in Vancouver, please join us for this post-conference wrap-up!
See you on Thursday, September 8th from 7 to 9pm at the US Patent and
Trademark Office. Look here for directions to the Patent and Trademarks Office: http://www.uspto.gov/about/contacts/locations/directions.jsp
Also note, to make admittance into the building easier, we strongly request an RSVP if you plan to attend the meeting. Please RSVP to robertoortiz1@yahoo.com.
